Terms of Service
Last updated: September 15, 2026
In plain English: CartProfit does the math on the numbers you give it. What you charge your clients is your call.
1. Who we are
CartProfit is a Chrome extension for private chefs, personal chefs, and caterers. It calculates food cost and pricing for catering jobs.
It is built by Chef Daniel Lubin. If you have any question about these terms, email support@trycartprofit.com. We answer every email.
2. What CartProfit does — and does not do
CartProfit reads what you type into it — what you bought, how many people you are feeding, your yields, and your other costs. It shows you your real food cost per guest, your break-even, and a price that hits your target profit.
It does not order food. It does not send quotes for you. It does not file anything with the government. It does not touch your money. It is a calculator. You make the decisions.
3. The free trial and the price
Your first 7 days are free. No card up front. You can use every feature during the trial.
After 7 days, CartProfit costs $39 a month, billed monthly. We will ask for a card before you pay. There is no contract and no minimum term.
4. How to cancel
Email support@trycartprofit.com and say you want to cancel. Or cancel from the billing page inside the extension. Either way works. You can cancel any time.
When you cancel, your billing stops. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for. After that, the extension stops working.
Your data stays on your computer. It always has. We never had a copy, so there is nothing for us to delete — and nothing we can give back. If you want to keep your numbers, save them before you cancel.
5. Refunds
There are no refunds. Zero exceptions.
The trial is free. It exists so you can see the math work before you pay a cent. If you cancel, you simply do not get billed again.
6. CartProfit is a calculator, not advice
CartProfit is not financial advice, tax advice, or accounting advice. Nobody here is your accountant, your bookkeeper, or your lawyer.
The prices you charge your clients are your decisions and your responsibility. Check them yourself. If you have questions about taxes or your books, talk to a professional in your state.
7. Your numbers depend on your numbers
Every figure CartProfit shows comes from what you enter — the items, the prices, the guest count, the yields, and your other costs. If any of that is wrong, the output is wrong too.
Check the inputs before you trust the output. That is true for any calculator, including this one.
8. Acceptable use
Use CartProfit for your own food business. Don't use it for anything illegal. Don't resell it, share your paid access, or try to get around the paywall. Don't copy the code or build a clone from it.
If you break these rules, we can end your access. No refund, and you still owe what you used.
9. We may change these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and say what changed. If you keep using CartProfit after a change, the new terms apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
CartProfit is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost profits, lost bookings, lost ingredients, bad quotes, or any other damage that comes from using it — or from not being able to use it.
If we are ever found liable for anything, the most you can recover is what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in this section removes rights the law does not let you sign away.
11. Governing law
These terms follow the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any dispute about them is handled in the courts of Texas.
